My favorite thing to make around the holidays are my mama’s holly wreaths. They are so simple and taste absolutely amazing. It’s like a rice crispy treat on steroids. I hope you enjoy them just as much as we do!
Holly Wreaths
6 cups of corn flakes
32 large marshmallows
1 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp or more of green food coloring (until you have the perfect shade of green)
1/3 cup of butter
red hots
1. Prepare sheets of wax paper (approximately 3 each 2 feet long) on counter and spray with cooking spray.
2. Melt the butter in a large pan
3. Add the marshmallows and stirring constantly until melted.
4. Add the almond extract, vanilla, and green food coloring.

5. Remove from heat.
5. Stir in the Cornflakes.

6. Spray your hands with cooking spray so that the mixture does not stick to your fingers. Immediately begin to form wreaths. Be careful the mixture is very hot.
7. Put a tablespoon sized drop of the mixture on the wax paper and shape into a circle. Once all the wreaths have been made place three red hots in a triangle at the top of the wreaths.

8. Allow to cool and set for 2 hours and then enjoy!
